I am confused on what the education needed to be a Investment Banker?

Investment bankers are recruited from the best schools. If you don’t go to a top tier school and have a GPA over 3.5, your chances of getting an investment banking job are slim. Many top schools do not have undergraduate majors in finances, so economics is a popular choice. Investment bankers (and most people in business) graduate college, work for a few years, and then go back for an MBA.
People I know who have become investment bankers went to:
University of Chicago
Princeton
Williams
these are the type of schools they are looking for.
