Good Investment Safe Keeping for my Children Education Funds?

I want to put aside $5000 each for my two kids’ education funds. They’re 19 months & 3 1/2 yrs old, I want to put aside saving for them but not sure where.

I thought of BofA Education saving or WAMU or put it in an investment profolio S&P500…
