Investment class in college?
lucstudent asked:
Had anyone taken an investment course in college?? Did you find the course helpful? When you invest, do you apply any of the applications taught in the course?? Right now, we’re learning how to calculate risk and probability. Does anyone even apply those calculations before they make an investment decision?

Online College Courses, waste of time or great investment?
jala_lady2006 asked:
Is it reliable, is the quality different than the traditional college scene, is it less expensive??
I want to persue a career in psychology, could I possibly recieve an online education in this field?
I am twenty years old I will be a junior in the tradational college scene, I have just completed my Associates Degree at a community college. I fear that I would be missing out on the whole “College/University Experience” if I decide online is the way to go.
Any suggestions??

Education is a future investment?
random asked:
I beg to differ on the above statement. Education is cost. It is an opportunity cost to start with and in many cases ends up as a sunk cost. It is perhaps the biggest chunk of cost in one’s life and I woudn’t be surprised with decrease in population with above relevation. Such cliche should not be allowed as it gives false nature of education. Today, educational institutions and schools are becoming (if not already) businesses running on students’ pockets with a label of above cliche and this should be banned. Investment comes with returns and dividends and education does not provide it today. It is perhaps a badly bubbled up sector and population should be educated of this fact.

When It Comes To A College Education What is Better A Community College or 4yr University ?
Yasmine G asked:
I want this question to ponder in everyone’s mind, what is better getting a degee from a Comm College or a university ?
Which on looks more impressive a education from Community, or one from a University, why ?
Many people like to say that the reason that they fail to go to a college is MONEY. But doesnt everybody know that the best investment is you education?
My personal opinion is that , when you are paying 11,000 or plus a year for a education, what comes with that is time to grow up with out living at home, responsiblity, education, 24 hour food, and help services, and never having to worry about bills, the only thing that you will have to ask the goverment for is to finance your education, and getting a job in something that you love and not having to pay the gov. back until you graduate.
Where at a community you are paying less but yet spending more, because your still living at home, still working, &still have the bubble of protection around you from your parents.
