How do you unwind from the negative side of a straddle option when I am option trading?

option trading
Mark W asked:

I am trying to learn more about option trading. I know how to use calls and puts and have made money doing this. But I now want to get involved in straddles, spreads and selling options. So if I am using a straddle how do I unwind from the negative side of the straddle when the stock is moving away from that side? How do I use a spread and how do I sell a seccessful option?

when you have new inventions how do you get it to prototype with no money, same?for patent?

investment seminars
joyc asked:

I have a great invention, seriously! my problem is I have no money,I am afraid to tell anyone about it. I am afraid someone will come up with the same one. I do not know where or how to do a patent search,or how to make a prototype. I do not know how to get it patented.I do not have the money. I have had people tell me that this is a good idea and they are interested. Everyone I have told without really telling them say that it is a project that would go somewhere, There were a few deaths in the family so I have not talked to anyone about it for a while. There are seminars I could go to. seminars that I have to pay for and like I said I have no money. I have no idea what to do with the tech side, financial, and I think this would market itself easily. I just need protection for now.I believe if it was patented then the rest would fall into place financially through investments.Where do I go. If you can answer this then you deserve many points. This makes me sick just thinking about it.

What are the pre requisites to start an investment firm?

investment courses
That’s me … asked:

I am planning to start up a firm…for which many of my friends are ready to give me some money which I’ll invest on my strategy. By the end of the year or after some time they get whatever we first planned of(including 10%,15% profit etc, irrespective of what I make).
Do I need to complete some courses before I start the company. One of my relatives was saying that I need some sort of certification. Can some body guide me to what I need to do now. Please point me to some good websites that provide better understanding of the situation. I searched for some data regarding it but of no use! :(

Has anyone taken the Investools classes? Did you get your money’s worth & are you successful at investing?

investment seminars
chica bonita asked:

I just went to the free introductory seminar for Investools last week and want to go through the training. I can’t take the classes yet until I save the $2,000. I believe the tools will probably work, but I want to hear how the training has helped someone else who has gone through it. I’m a beginning investor who is just starting out with $500 and I research stocks and read the charts on free websites. I use the Phil Town “Rule #1″ investment strategies, which I’ve found out are very much the same as what Investools teaches. Will the classes be worth it?

Can buying a car ever be a good investment?

investment courses
PM asked:

I already have two cars. Both are regular everyday cars. I love cars,
and wish I could buy something more collectable. Maybe a Saab
900, or something like that. But I don’t have money to waste on
additional car depreciation. I would like to buy something reasonably priced which would actually be in demand 5-10 years from now, and retain much of its value. Any suggestions? I am not interested in a pimped out car. I simply love the look of a clean
car in original condition. But again, can buying a car every be a good investment? (with the exception of course of the obvious collectables such as the 65 mustang, and so on)
